Christian County High School finished in fourth place at the Region I Bowling Tournament on Wednesday in Bowling Green, the highest finish for the school in the program’s four-year history.
Christian Lane and Kane DeGiulio won the Unified Division, becoming the first CCHS bowlers to win a region title. It’s the second year the duo has qualified for the state tournament.
Lane also finished in eighth place and will bowl in a regional all-star tournament later this year. He bowled a 626 series that included a high game of 235.
Jaxson Hall rolled a 508 series, including a high game of 182, to finish in 29th place.
Michael DeArmond bowled a three-game series of 428 with a high score of 159, to finish in 56th place.
Brycen Newcom bowled a 423 series with a high of 146 and finished in 58th place.
