Riding the season’s first two-game winning streak into Thursday’s contest with visiting Stewart County, TN, the Todd County Central Lady Rebels failed to stretch it to three after a 59-27 defeat.
Stewart County ran its record to 20-3 with the win, while dropping Todd Central to 4-16.
The Lady Rebels have now lost two of three matchups with Tennessee teams this season, with the victory coming against East Robertson in early January.
Todd Central will look to even its 13th-District record on Friday when Logan County visits Elkton. The Lady Cougars took the first meeting between the teams 66-27 to snap the Lady Rebels’ two-game winning streak in the series.
