Pulaski County offensive lineman Brady Hull is the ninth ranked junior prospect in Kentucky but has plenty of major scholarship offers, including Kentucky, South Carolina, Louisville and Purdue.

The 6-foot-3, 295-pound Hull ended his recruitment Thursday by making his commitment to Kentucky and new coach Will Stein.

“Him and I talked about going ahead and doing it before his senior season. He wanted to focus on his senior season with us. He wanted to enjoy the ride with teammates one more time,” said Pulaski County coach Travis Burns.

“Coach Stein and his staff did an amazing job recruiting him. He wanted to commit and be one of the first ones in his class to commit and help Kentucky with recruiting.”

Hull had been recruited by previous UK coach Mark Stoops and his staff but felt that Stein and new UK offensive line coach Cutter Leftwich prioritized him by not only visiting him but staying in almost daily contact after getting to Kentucky.

“I was not at all surprised that he picked Kentucky. Going through the process he had not made his mind up and then they hired Stein,” Burns said. “They did an amazing job recruiting Brady and letting him know how important he was to them and the state.

“This (recruiting) class of 2027 is a very good class. Probably one of the best we have had in Kentucky in a long time. They (UK coaches) have made it an emphasis to recruit in state and have shown these kids a lot of love. They contacted Brady or his mom about every day and it paid off for them.”

  1. We won the state from 2018-2025. We lost the state in 2026. Now we will take the state back over. All the Kentucky players that transferred to Louisville are traitors. The only person I wanted to keep that left is Quisenberry other than him he they can keep everyone who left.
BRADY HULL WELCOME TO BBN. We welcome all the studs to kentucky. I do believe he will redshirt of course as a freshman. Then will get backup snaps as a redshirt freshman then I can see him compete for a starting spot on the line as a sophomore. That's the path you want to see from a lineman. You always redshirt the first year and then play on special teams and backup as a redshirt freshman. Then find yourself on the field your sophomore year. I just hope he stays long enough to actually develop. I never understand players that come for one year somewhere. Your first year of college you should expect to redshirt unless a ton of injuries happen.
