Christian County school officials have set the date for the announcement of three more coaches for the consolidated Christian County High School for the fall sports season. The announcement of the head coaches for the Girls Soccer and Boys and Girls Golf programs will take place Thursday, February 19, at 12pm in the Board Room at the Central Office, on Glass Avenue.

Superintendent Chris Bentzel, Executive Principal Ken Carver, and district athletic leadership will be joined by the newly appointed coaches. Officials note that as Hopkinsville High and Christian County High prepare to merge into the new CCHS for the 2026-27 school year, these coaching hires represent a critical step in uniting the two historic athletic traditions under the “Tigers” banner.

The new coaches will join the growing roster of the CCHS inaugural staff, which already includes Dustin Lopez (Football), William Bryan (Boys Soccer), Zach Hardison (Volleyball), and Roger Volk (Cross Country).

Following the announcement, the new coaches will share their vision for their respective programs and participate in a media question and answer session.
