Hopkinsville finished in 19th place at its final appearance at the Girls Region 1 Wrestling Tournament held on Saturday at Union County High School.
Isabell Walker had the top finish for the Lady Tigers, placing sixth. She won her first two matches but dropped to the fifth-place match, where she lost to McCracken County’s Emmery Evans.
Rheanna Walker won two matches and fell one short of a shot at fifth place with a loss in the fifth consolation round.
Emma DeArmond (126) and Trinity Lopez (185) also won matches at the region tournament.
Hopkinsville’s 24 points were good for a 19th-place tie with Meade County.
