Lyon County finished up a regular-season roll through the 5th District by routing Livingston Central 91-26 Monday night in Eddyville.

The Lyons built a 31-6 lead after 8 minute and held a commanding 65-11 lead at halftime on the way to the win at Jason White Gymnasium.

The Lyons are now 22-6 overall and 6-0 in district play.

Nolan Coffman had a pair of first-half dunks as part of his 20-point performance for Lyon.

Bray Kirk reached 2,000 career points during the contest while scoring 18 in the win.

Carson Collins also scored in double figures with 13 points as 13 Lyons dented the scoring column.

Logan Wring provided much of Livingston’s offense with 18 points.

The Cardinals (12-12, 4-2) struggled against Lyon’s full-court pressure in the first half.

The Lyons turned turnovers into easy points at the other end while topping 30 points in each of the first two periods.

The two teams are expected to see each other again next week in the championship game of the 5th District tournament.

The Lyons will finish up the regular season with a pair of home dates later this week — hosting Paducah St. Mary for Senior Night on Thursday before facing Marshall County on Friday.

Livingston will go to Mayfield on Thursday before hosting Christian Fellowship School on Friday.
