Hopkins County Central buried Fort Campbell early, opening the game on an 18-0 run and rolling to a 71-54 victory.
The Storm spread the scoring in the first quarter, with five players finding the basket. Neilan Bruce set the tone, scoring eight of his 16 points in the opening frame.
Fort Campbell answered in the second, trimming the deficit by outscoring the Storm 18-12. Tyreek Anthony sparked the surge, knocking down two 3-pointers and pouring in 11 of his 17 points in the quarter.
Still, Hopkins County Central carried a 41-26 lead into halftime and kept its foot on the gas in the third. Samari Pettus caught fire, scoring 11 of his game-high 23 points to maintain control.
A late push never fully materialized for Fort Campbell. Garrett Vannatta scored 12 of his team-high 20 points in the fourth quarter, but the early deficit proved too much to overcome.
Devante Jagoe added 12 points for the Storm, giving them three players in double figures alongside Pettus and Bruce.
Hopkins County Central shot efficiently throughout, finishing 30-for-61 from the field — just under 50%. Fort Campbell shot 41%.
