The Caldwell County Lady Tiger softball team dropped its first scrimmage at Ballard Memorial 9-4 on Monday.
The game was 1-1 in the fifth inning before an eight-run frame gave the Lady Bombers the lead for good.
Josie Palm was 2-for-3 with an RBI for the Lady Tigers while Adley Lewis, Carlee Palm and Ellie King each had doubles.
Caldwell’s girls will play their final scrimmage at home this Thursday against McCracken County.
The Lady Tigers will begin the regular season next Monday at Union County.
