Madisonville-North Hopkins came in seventh place out of 148 schools at the NASP State Archery Tournament that wrapped up on Saturday in Louisville.
Tanner Pryor led the Maroons with a score of 286 and 16 tens. He finished 51st out of 1,538 high school boys.
Close behind was Riley Peyton, who posted a 285 to place 52nd.
Parker Keith also scored 285 with 17 tens, recording a personal best and finishing 58th among high school boys.
On the girls’ side, Kaleigh Faulk turned in a personal-best 281 with 13 tens, ranking 98th among high school girls.
Several other Maroons reached the 280+ mark, including Alex Garrott (281), Lukas Brewer (280), and Landon Peyton (280).

Madisonville’s team score of 3,354 was its second-highest of the season, just four points behind last month’s score at Hopkins County Central. Harrison County took the state title with a team score of 3,453.
