The Kentucky High School Baseball Coaches Association (KHSBCA) has released its 2026 preseason watch list, recognizing players from across the state.
University Heights Academy has three players on the list – Hayden Hunt, Cadence Gibson, and Jaiden Miles.
Hunt, who has signed with Indiana State University, was 3-3 on the mound last season with a 1.82 ERA and 44 strikeouts in 34 innings pitched. At the plate, he hit .405 with three home runs and 20 RBI.
Miles, who has signed with Tennessee Wesleyan, was 4-2 on the bump with a 2.21 ERA and 54 strikeouts in 38 innings. He also smacked three home runs last year with 18 RBI.
Gibson led the Blazers in hits (32) and RBI (22) last season while batting .340. He was also 2-2 on the mound with one save and a 3.92 ERA.
