
Madisonville North Hopkins scored 10 runs in their final two at-bats to beat Marshall County 13-6 on Saturday at Trigg County’s Recreation Complex.
A.J. Guill smacked a three-run home run to tie the game at six in the bottom of the fifth, and the Lady Maroons tacked on seven runs in the sixth inning, highlighted by Neveah Lindle’s three-run home run.
Marshall County took a 5-3 lead in the third inning when Addley Poole smacked a grand slam over the center field fence.

Sadie Kirk came on in relief to pitch the final four innings for Madisonville, striking out ten and allowing just two hits.
She and Maggie Killough each had two hits and two RBI as part of a 10-hit Lady Maroon attack.
Marshall County got two hits from Emma Reynolds as the Lady Marshals fell to 1-2.
