
A tough day for the Dawson Springs Panthers Saturday. The Panthers hosted Community Christian for a doubleheader and fell in both contests 17-0 and 20-3.
In the opener, the Panthers were limited to just four hits as Community Christian took the 17-0 win. The game was 6-0 headed into the top of the 5th when Community erupted for the big inning to close out the game.
The Panthers did not help themselves any with 6 errors for the contest.
Micah Washburn was 2-2 with a triple. Haiden Richardson and Harrison Dalton added one hit apiece.
The second game of the day saw Community Christian hang 18 runs on the board in the top of the first inning on the way to the three-inning win.
Braxton Robinson was was 1-1 with two RBIs and a run scored. Haiden Richardson was 2-2 with a triple and an RBI.
Again, the Panthers (0-5) had their struggles in the field, being charged with four errors in the game.
