Trigg County Finishes in Sixth Place at Region, Sending One to State

Trigg County finished in sixth place at the KHSAA Region 1 Archery Tournament at Henderson County on Saturday and qualified one for the state tourney.

Piper Mackey shot a 283 to finish in seventh place and nab the third and final individual qualifying spot for state.

Abby Langston of Webster County took the regional title with a score of 292, while Ellen Chaney of Henderson County was second, and Isabella Ham of Murray finished third at 285.

As a team, Trigg County finished in sixth place with a score of 1,843. Henderson County (1,951) won the region title, with Webster County (1,945) second and Murray (1,940) third.

Netra Patel shot a 277 to finish in 18th place, followed by Megan Wadlington (269) in 36th, Alexis Starcher (265) in 49th, and Lilliana Wido (263) in 52nd.

Bailee Brandon (251), was 80th, followed by Chloe White (235), 110th and Serena Hanson (108) in 119th.
