Fort Campbell’s Eithan Cassell became the second Falcon wrestler to commit to Kentucky Wesleyan College this week, joining Jaeden Carolina.
Cassell earned his first trip to the KHSAA Boys’ State Wrestling Tournament in 2026 after finishing third in the 138-pound class at the Region 1 Tournament. Cassell went 3-1 at the regional tournament and finished the event with a 42-13 record, helping Fort Campbell place fourth as a team — the Falcons’ best region finish in 12 years.
Cassell just missed state in 2025 after finishing fifth at region, but bounced back as a senior to reach the state field for the first time.
Kentucky Wesleyan wrestles at the NCAA Division II level and competes in the Great Midwest Athletic Conference. The program is currently in its first season under head coach Jacob Lorentz and trains at a dedicated wrestling facility built in 2022.
