The Madisonville-North Hopkins Lady Maroons are headed to the KHSAA Team Tennis Tournament later this month.
Madisonville’s girls turned back Caldwell County 3-1 Monday night at Ruff Park in Hopkinsville to capture the Region 2 Team Championship.
Kiley DeMoss (6-0, 6-0) and Katelyn Jones (6-0, 6-2) claimed singles wins for the Lady Maroons while the doubles team of Addyson Raymer and Cadence Curry were victorious 6-3, 6-3 in the finals.
Madisonville dispatched Henderson County 3-0 in the semifinals.
DeMoss and Jones had singles victories against the Lady Colonels while Aden Price and Olivia Kirkland picked up a doubles win.
The KHSAA Team Tennis Tournament will take place May 28-29 in Lexington.
