Todd County Central broke through in the second inning when Jacob Jackson lined a ball down the right field line that brought home two runs and gave the Rebels an early lead.

The Rebels also turned in one of the game’s more memorable defensive moments in the first inning. After Mason Hancock sent a line drive into the outfield, Tysean Thomeczek attempted to score, but Waylon Lanier and Jackson connected on a perfect relay throw to Kody Kemp at the plate to cut down the run.

Todd County Central would have just two runners reach base over the final five innings, one on an error and one on a walk.

Logan County scored a run in the bottom of the third to trim the lead to 2-1. Logan County pulled ahead in the fifth inning, capitalizing on a Todd County Central error.

Ty Jolly got the start for the Rebels and worked 4 2/3 innings, allowing four runs, with only one earned, on six hits while striking out three and walking three.

Jacob Jackson drove in both runs for Todd County Central from the eighth spot in the lineup and finished 1-for-3 at the plate.

The Rebels see their season come to an end with a record of 10-15.
