
The Fort Campbell Lady Falcons got a pair of podium finishes on Thursday at the KHSAA Class 1A State Track and Field Meet at the University of Kentucky.
The day was marred by rain showers, although not severe enough to cause any weather delays.
Mylah Sawyer reached the medal podium in the 400-meter dash with an eighth-place finish in 1:02.91. She just missed a second medal in the 200 meters by .28 seconds with a 10th place finish in 27.85 seconds.
Mila Smith got a medal in the long jump with an eighth-place finish at 15-01.75.
Lillian Ketterl came in 10th place in the 800-meter run in 2:33.04.
Taylor Finch was 13th in the high jump at 4-6.

Abby Roberts finished 16th in the 3200-meter run in 13:00.72.
A’Mari Grimsley came in 21st place in the 100-meter hurdles in 18.16 seconds, and Ni’Asia Owen took 21st place in the 300-meter hurdles in 1:02.75.
The 3200-meter relay team of Aspen McWilliams, Abby Roberts, Mylah Sawyer and Lillian Ketterl finished in 10th place in 10:55.36.
The 1600-meter relay team of Ketterl, Sawyer, Mila Smith, and Kendal Bradley came in 21st place in 4:51.05.
As a team, Fort Campbell finished tied for 39th place with two points.
