Hopkinsville’s Donnisha Flowers ended the 2021-22 basketball season as one of nine players in the region with more than 1,000 career points.

The Lady Tiger senior reached the milestone on February 7 at Todd County Central.  She finishes her career with 1,102 points.

Other seniors in the 2nd Region who finished their careers with over 1,000 points include Madisonville-North Hopkins guard Camryn LaGrange, who scored 1,762 points. She likely would have topped 2,000 points had she not missed her junior season with a knee injury.

Webster County’s Raigan Price scored 1,527 points, and Trigg County’s Marleigh Reynolds scored 1,255 points.

Lyon County teammates Rose Smith and Calista Collins finished their careers with over 1,200 points. Smith scored 1,298 points, while Collins scored 1,289 points and grabbed 1,352 career rebounds.

Three juniors in the region have over 1,000 points with two of them likely to pass 2,000 points next year.

Crittenden County’s Taylor Guess has the most career points of any player in the region at 1,833 points. Brooklyn Clark of Hopkins County Central has 1,608 points. Both should pass 2,000 points in the 2022-23 season.

Trigg County’s Olivia Noffsinger will take 1,011 career points into next season.

Several players have a good chance to reach the 1,000-point milestone next season.

Henderson County juniors Jarie Thomas (807) and Graci Risley (833) should reach the mark around the same time.

Union County junior Madison Morris has 904 points and will likely be the first player to hit the mark.

Several others have a good shot at reaching 1,000 points next year or in early 2023-24.

They include Hopkins County junior Emile Jones (740 points), Dawson Springs junior Abby Ward (717), Crittenden County junior Natalie Boone (652), Livingston Central freshman Victoria Joiner (610), and University Heights Academy freshman Alicia Davis.
