
Mackenzie Cooper saw marked improvement at her second KHSAA State Archery Tournament with an 83rd-place finish in Bowling Green.
The Trigg County sophomore shot a 279, which was nine points better than last year when her 270 got her 127th place.
Cooper was a model of consistency throughout the year with her scores in nine tournaments ranging from 277 to 286 with a season average of 281.
Cooper had six top-10 finishes in the high school division that included a third-place finish and two fourth-place finishes.
