The Christian County Lady Colonels now set their sights on the regular season following their final preseason soccer scrimmage Tuesday evening at the Stadium of Champions. The Lady Colonels hosted Clarksville Northwest in their last tuneup for the regular season.
Much like Monday night’s loss to Crittenden County, a slow start got things off on the wrong foot for the Lady Colonels as they fell to the Lady Vikings 8-0. Northwest scored five goals, including an own goal, in the first 20 minutes and rolled on from there.
Northwest controlled the pace of play throughout, pushing the ball forward on the attack and keeping the Lady Colonels in their own end of the field for much of the contest.
Christian County will now open the regular season Monday night when they host Logan County.
