After a standout career at University Heights Academy, Elijah Walton is now getting the chance to continue his athletic and academic career on the collegiate level. During ceremonies at UHA Wednesday morning, Walton signed to play for Georgetown College.
During his senior year in 2024-2025, Walton averaged 18.9 points per game, which was second on the team, and 8.3 rebounds per contest, which led the team for the third straight season.
His junior year saw Walton hit for 12.9 points per game and pull down 8.7 rebounds per game.
As a sophomore in 2022-2023, Walton scored 9.7 points per game and averaged 6.1 rebounds per outing. He also helped lead the Blazers to the All A quarterfinals, where they played in a four-overtime classic against Owensboro Catholic.
His freshman season in 2021-2022, Walton averaged 5.3 points and 3.9 rebounds per game.
