The Madisonville-North Hopkins doubles tennis team of Kylie DeMoss and Caroline Lovvorn has secured the number three seed for next week’s Kentucky High School Athletic Association State Tennis Tournament at the University of Kentucky.
DeMoss and Lovvorn captured their second straight region title a week ago and will face the St. Henry team of Maggie Kute and Lindsay Payne Tuesday morning at 11:30 Eastern Time at the Hilary J. Boone Tennis Center at the University of Kentucky. DeMoss and Lovvorn advanced to the second round at last year’s state tennis tournament.
A Tuesday win means they come back and play a second-round match at 3:15.
