A double-digit effort Saturday from University Heights Academy senior Tylin George as the Kentucky Junior All-Stars took on the Senior All-Star team that will square off in the annual summer series against the Indiana All-Stars.
George connected for 14 points but the Junior All-Stars still fell in a shootout with the Senior All-Stars 121-112 in the game played at Louisville Eastern High School.
The juniors actually led 61-60 at the half but the senior team outscored the younger guys 61-51 in the second half to take the win.
In 16 minutes of action, George was 5-10 from the field, including 2-5 from behind the 3-point line. He knocked down 2 of 2 from the free throw line and was the second leading scorer for the juniors.
George added 4 rebounds, one assist, and one blocked shot.
Cole Edelen had 31 to pace the juniors. Demarcus Surratt also hit double figures with 12.
Andy Johnson led the seniors with 23 points. Jonah Butler added 21.
