Lady Colonels Drop 4-0 Decision to Clarksville in Storm-Shortened Match

The Christian County Lady Colonels had to deal with both weather and the Clarksville Lady Eagles Tuesday evening, and it was a tough go on both sides as the Lady Colonels fell 4-0 in the match that was ended near halftime.

The Lady Colonel defense held Clarksville scoreless for the first 17 minutes of the match before the Lady Eagles found their stride and scored four times over the next 15 ½ minutes.

With thunderstorms across the area, the match was called with 7:33 to go in the half with Clarksville holding the 4-0 lead.

NeZiyah Bell had 12 saves for Christian County at the time the match was called.

The Lady Colonels (4-11-1) are scheduled to go on the road to Ohio County Thursday night.
