The search for Trigg County High School’s next football coach will begin soon, following the resignation of Chris Ezell, which was announced Monday morning.
Trigg County Schools Superintendent Dr. Rex Booth told YourSportsEdge.com that the first step will be updating the job description.
Dr. Booth added that once the school board approves the changes, the job will be posted on the district’s website.
He hopes to have the next coach hired right after the district’s spring break.

Ezell was 18-33 in five seasons as head coach at Trigg County. On Tuesday, it was announced that he would join the coaching staff at the new Christian County High School as an assistant coach.
