The Caldwell County Lady Tigers traveled to Henderson County for tennis action on Monday, but Caldwell dropped all seven matches to the host Lady Colonels.
In singles:
Rachel McClung was defeated by Zoe Lawrence 6-1, 6-0;
Josie Shaffer fell to Kendall Warren 6-1, 6-0;
Keegan Miller dropped an 8-2 decision to Cameron Chandler;
Emma Peake was beaten by Merrick Conkright 8-0;
and Avery Ritchey was nipped by Abby Gibson 8-6.
In doubles action:
McClung/Shaffer lost to Chandler/Conkright 8-4;
and Miller/Ritchey fell to Warren/Gibson 8-4.
Caldwell’s tennis squads will play at Webster County on Tuesday.
