Elijah Forbes capped a good week on the golf course with a second-place finish at Thursday’s GO Junior Golf Series Stop at Ben Hawes State Park Golf Course.
The Logan County High alum shot a 7-over-par 78 to finish in second place. Owensboro’s Braden Whistle won the event with a 4-over 70.
Forbes won the Bluegrass Golf Tour stop two days prior by rolling in four birdies and shooting a 6-over 77 at the Franklin Country Club.
