The Todd County Central Lady Rebels have their sights set on a third straight trip to the district championship game as the 13th District volleyball tournament gets underway. The tournament kicks off Monday evening at Todd County Central High School.

The opening match Monday will have the top-seeded Logan County Lady Cougars taking on crosstown rival Russellville. The Lady Cougars swept the Lady Panthers in their only match of the season, holding them to fewer than 10 points in each game. Logan County has not lost a volleyball match to Russellville since August 14, 2010. The match is slated for a 6:00pm start Monday.

The second semifinal will have the host Todd County Central Lady Rebels taking on Franklin-Simpson. The Lady Rebels swept the Lady Wildcats in both of their matchups during the regular season. Todd County Central currently has a seven-match winning streak against Franklin-Simpson.

The championship match is slated for Tuesday night at 6:00 at Todd County Central High School.

Under the current district alignment, Logan County has won every 13th District championship going back through the 2010 season.
