Fort Campbell competed in its first wrestling invitational of the season, finishing in 17th place at the West Creek Coyote Classic Saturday in Clarksville.
Essic Reed finished in 13th place in the 145-pound class, winning a pair of matches.
Scott Bricker was 14th in the 152-pound class.
John Montalvo lost his first match in the 138-pound class but battled back to win three straight before a loss in the consolation semifinals.
The Falcons finished 17th in the team standings.
Fort Campbell was strong in the JV competition with Chance Bryant and Adam Wroblewski winning first place.
