The Caldwell County Lady Tiger soccer team recently handed out awards to its top players from the 2021 season.
Award winners included Laken White, MVP and 110% Award; Kendall Boyd, Best Offense; Avery Ritchey, Best Defense; Michaelyn Sample, Most Improved; Harper Ritchey, Rookie of the Year; and Addie Cagle, Coach’s Award.
In addition, five players received the Antony Hart First Goal Award for scoring their first varsity goals. Those players are Nadya Hutchinson, Harper Ritchey, Cali Traylor, Jena Grimes and Mariah Merritt.
Senior awards were presented to Kendall Boyd, Hadlee Hall, Nadya Hutchinson, Reagan Hodge and Nevaeh Stoltenberg.
Junior varsity awards were given to Abby Gill, MVP and 110% Award; Mariah Merritt, Best Offense; and Lexie Sullivan, Best Defense.
