Falcons Run to Hopkinsville Classic Team Title

Fort Campbell picked up three individual wins and three relay wins on its way to the team title of the Hopkinsville Track and Field Classic Saturday at the Stadium of Champions.

The Falcons scored 109 points as a team, 27 more points than second-place University Heights Academy.

Cruzy Cruz – 1st in the long jump (18-04)

Niklas Sujanani – 1st in the 100-meter dash (11.59); 2nd in the 110-meter hurdles (17.88); 6th in the 200-meter dash (25.34)

Billy Lubas – 1st in the 800-meter run (2:09.56); 3rd in the 1600-meter run (4:50.31)

Patrick Hayes – 2nd in the long jump (17-07.5); 7th in the 100-meter dash (12.31)

Leon King – 2nd in the 200-meter dash (24.26); 3rd in the 100-meter dash (11.75)

Josh Blanton – 2nd in the 3200-meter run (11:29.45); 6th in the 1600-meter run (5:06.23)

John Montalvo – 3rd in the triple jump (34-05); 3rd in the 110-meter hurdles (19.04)

Lyndell Smith – 3rd in the discus throw (119-10); 3rd in the shot put (34-0)

Ja’Torreyeon Jones – 4th in the triple jump (33-10)

Logan Sharp – 4th in the 200-meter dash (24.77)

Darrion Hutson – 5th in the 300-meter hurdles (51.75)

Amari Waddy – 5th in the 800-meter run (2:19.75)

Seth Puraty – 5th in the 3200-meter run (13:43.36)

Juan Solis – 6th in the shot put (26-04); 8th in the discus throw (70-01)

Ian Rosario – 6th in the 300-meter hurdles (53.82); 7th in the 400-meter dash (59.67)

Aidan Lindeman – 7th in the discus throw (73-04)

Noah Johnson – 9th in the 400-meter dash (1:00.16)

The 3200-meter relay team of Josh Blanton, Amari Waddy, William Lubas, and Seth Purarty won the race in a time of 9:24.02.

The 800-meter relay team of Leon King, Mateo Cerritos-Gatto, Cruzy Cruz, and Niklas Sujanani won the race in 1:37.02.

Another win came from the 400-meter relay team of Mateo Cerritos-Gatto, Leon King, Cruzy Cruz, and Niklas Sujanani with a time of 46.06 seconds.

The 1600-meter relay team of Logan Sharp, David Hinnah, Mateo Cerritos-Gatto, and Xezavier Westbrook finished in second place in 3:56.53.
