With their season set to open Thursday evening, the 2022 edition of the Hopkinsville Hoppers had the chance to meet some of their fans up close Tuesday evening. The annual “Meet the Hoppers” took place at Casey Jones Distillery with the community invited out to get to know some of the players before the season gets underway.
Players and fans had the chance to enjoy food, music, and getting to know each other ahead of the start of the season.
The Hoppers are celebrating their 10th anniversary of being back in baseball this season.
Hoptown will open the season Thursday evening when they host the Dubois County Bombers at 6:30pm.
Hopper games this season are being played at Hopkinsville High School.
