
Christian County snapped a 22-match losing streak and notched its first shutout win in three seasons Thursday with a 6-0 win at Logan County.
Brylle Javier had the hat trick for the Colonels, who also got goals from Alex Hale, Christian Lopez, and R.J. Nolte.
Bryan Linares assisted on a pair of goals and Hale, Gage Montes, Jaden Woolf, and Wyatt Fleming each had one.
Josh Settle got the win in goal for the Colonels.
Christian County returns to action Tuesday at Muhlenberg County.

— Before Thursday Christian County’s last win was a 3-2 victory over Hopkinsville in the 2020 district tournament. The Colonels’ last regular season win was also their last shutout – 4-0 on September 21, 2019 against Hopkins County Central.
— Emmanuel Ixcol had Christian County’s last hat trick on October 2, 2018 against Caldwell County.
— The win was Christian County’s first true road win since an 8-2 win at Lyon County on October 1, 2018.
