While it was not the finish they would have liked, the Christian County Lady Colonels very nearly came up with some solid wins over the weekend at the Quad State Tournament in Paducah. The Lady Colonels finished with six losses at the event, however, three of those were three set losses in which Christian County had the opportunity to snag the win.
The Lady Colonels dropped tough, three-set matches to Caldwell County, Mayfield, and Dyersburg.

Friday
Lost to Mayfield – 23-25, 25-17, 6-15
Lost to Lexington (Tennessee) – 13-25, 9-25
Saturday
Lost to Caldwell County – 19-25, 26-24, 7-15
Lost to Community Christian – 16-25, 22-25
Lost to Clarksville – 18-25, 12-25
Lost to Dyersburg – 23-25, 26-24, 12-15
With the weekend results, the Lady Colonels now stand at 7-24 on the season. Christian County is back in action Tuesday night when they travel across town to take on Hopkinsville.
