Heritage Christian Academy played to a 2-2 tie Thursday at AIE in Louisville that will likely keep the Warriors a two-seed in the KCAA Soccer Tournament.
Carlos Robles and Angel Lopez scored the goals for the Warriors, who are now 2-1-1 in the KCAA standings. Assumption is 6-0-1 and the likely No. 1 seed. AIE is 6-1-2 and is expected to get the No. 2 seed.
Heritage has only played one home game against KCAA opposition this year and had a Tuesday game canceled as teams from the central and northern part of the state find ways to avoid coming to Hopkinsville to play the Warriors in league competition.
If Heritage gets the No. 3 seed as expected, they would host a play-in game next week. The KCAA State Tournament will be next Thursday and Saturday in Elizabethtown.
