The Maroons pushed the margin to 15 points at 33-18 in the third quarter.
But just when it looked like Madisonville had things in hand, Hopkinsville turned the tables.
The Tigers outscored the Maroons 47-17 the rest of the way to turn that 15-point deficit into a 15-point triumph, 65-50, at Maroon Gym.

A pair of free throws by Marcus Eaves made it a four-point game, 54-50, with still 1:29 remaining.
But that’s as close as the Maroons could get.
