Falcons Register Third Place Finish at Laker Invitational

The Fort Campbell Falcons brought home a third-place finish Saturday at the Calloway County Laker Invitational. The Falcons had an individual win and a relay win on the day.

The Falcons scored 79.5 points to finish 18.5 points behind second place Calloway County.

RELAYS

The 800-meter relay team of McKenzie Andrews, Eric Greene, Maurice Moore, and Mateo Cerritos Gatto won in a time of 1:35.55.

The 1600-meter relay team of Mateo Cerritos Gatto, Maurice Moore, Robert Federovich, and Samuel Atoubi was clipped at the line by less than a quarter-second to finish in second place in 3:39.62.

The 400-meter relay team of Ja’Caryous Perryman, Keshawn Dixon, Eric Greene, and Robert Federovich was fifth in 47.73.

The 3200-meter relay team of Jamile Wilson, Cory Brown, Alonso Alfaro, and Jayden Perry finished sixth in 10:06.31.

SPRINTS

Samuel Atoubi was seventh in the 110-meter hurdles in 20.46 seconds and eighth in the 400 meters in a personal-best time of 57.05 seconds.

Robert Federovich was eighth in the 110-meter hurdles in 21.04 seconds.

Amaury Andrews was sixth in the 300-meter hurdles with a time of 47.99 seconds and was 10th in the 110-meter hurdles in 31.15 seconds.

Christopher Talbot was eighth in the 300-meter hurdles in 50.84 seconds. Ethan Cassell was 11th in 59 seconds.

Maurice Moore won the 400-meters for the second straight week. He ran a 52.14 Saturday to edge Hopkinsville’s William Alston by .42 seconds.

Mateo Cerritos Gatto was sixth in the 400 meters in 55.64 seconds.

Ja’Caryous Perryman was 20th in the 100-meter dash in 12.49 seconds.

McKenzie Andrews was 20th in the 200 meters with a time of 26.04 seconds and was 21st in the 100-meter dash in 12.49 seconds.

Eric Greene was 17th in the 200 meters in 25.29 and Kaden Herrera was 21st in the 200 meters in 26.18.

MIDDLE DISTANCE

Jayden Perry came in ninth place in the 3200 meters in 12:30.05.

Jamile Wilson finished in 18th place in the 800 meters in 2:27.16, while Cory Brown was 28th in 2:44.80.

Darrion Hutson came in 20th place in the 1600 meters in 5:48.59.

FIELD EVENTS

Kaiden Verdone finished fourth in the high jump at 5 feet, 6 inches.

William Hebert came in sixth place in the pole vault at eight feet, while Seth Puraty was ninth at 7 feet, 6 inches.

Ja’Lyel Welch finished in sixth place in the shot put at 39-09.25 and was 10th in the discus throw at 100 feet, one inch.

Keshawn Dixon was seventh in the discus throw at 108-05 and eighth in the shot put at 39-06.25.

Jordan Herrera was eighth in the high jump at 5 feet, 2 inches.

Ricky Boykin was 22nd in the shot put at 23 feet, 9.25 inches.
