For the seventh time this season, the Todd County Central Lady Rebels put up double digits on the scoreboard. The Lady Rebels traveled to Mortons Gap and made short work of the Hopkins County Central Lady Storm 17-2 in five innings, winning for the sixth time in their last eight games.
The only losses in that eight-game stretch have both been at the hands of the Russellville Lady Panthers.
The Lady Rebels pounded out 11 hits and took full advantage of nine Hopkins County Central errors over the five innings of the game.
Todd County Central (7-4) got a solid performance from Addison Woodall in the circle. Woodall got the start and went four innings, giving up just two runs on four hits, striking out six and walking three.
Averie Luckenbill led the Lady Rebel attack with three hits. Karli Herrera, Abby McPherson, and Abby Williams had two hits each for the Lady Rebels, who equaled their highest run output of the season.
Todd County Central is now off until Friday when they will head down to Tennessee to take part in the Brentwood Invitational.
