
Trigg County High School senior Alliyah Thomas won three region titles at Monday’s Class 2A Region 1 track and field meet at Calloway County High School.
Thomas took first place in the 100 and 300-meter hurdles and won the 200-meter dash. Her time in the 100-meter hurdles was 16.72 seconds, just off her school record time set last week.
Thomas completed the 300 meters in 48.28 seconds and the 200 meters in 26.99 seconds.
As a team, Thomas scored 30 of Trigg County’s 39 points to finish 13 points behind fourth place Webster County.
HURDLES
Brooke Humphries ran a personal best time of 20.26 to finish in fourth place in the 100-meter hurdles.
SPRINTS
Addison Humphries saw a personal best time of 13.93 seconds in the 100-meter dash be good enough for eighth place. She was ninth in the 200 meters in 29.82.
MIDDLE DISTANCE
Alex Smith came in 10th place in the 800-meter run in 3:13.28.
RELAYS
The 800-meter relay team finished in fourth place (1:57.22).
FIELD EVENTS
Alex Smith was eighth in the shot put (25-01) and Alivia Norwood (23-10.25) was ninth.
In the discus throw, Evonna McGee was sixth with a personal best heave of 77-03, and Norwood was ninth (72-02).
Evonna McGee finished seventh in the long jump (12-05.75), and Gabbi McGee was eighth (11-06).
