Caldwell County eighth grader Alexis Wood has picked up two wins in the pitching circle in the 2nd Region tournament.
Wood was the winning pitcher in Saturday’s eight-inning 11-10 win over Christian County, then tossed a four-hitter in Caldwell’s 11-0 win in five innings over Crittenden County on Monday.
The Lady Tigers next face Henderson County in the regional championship game Wednesday night at Mortons Gap.
