Guess what Fort Campbell’s Emmie Underwood did Saturday? If you guessed ‘won another cross country meet’, you obviously have been following her success so far this fall.
Underwood took first place at the St. Mary Invitational Saturday, winning the girls’ race in a time of 19:42.63. That time was just over 26 seconds faster than Reese Settle, of Calloway County, who finished in second place.
Underwood’s effort led the Lady Falcons to a second-place finish in the team competition with 61 points. Murray claimed first place with 44 points.
Scoring finishes for the Lady Falcons were:

Makayla Finn – 14th
Ava Roberts – 21st
Sophia McDonald – 26th
Emma Pirner – 28th
