Hopkins County Central’s girls advanced in the 7th District tournament Tuesday night with a 1-0 shootout victory over Caldwell County.
The teams went to penalty kicks 0-0 before the Lady Storm won the shootout 4-3 on their seventh attempt.
Hopkins Central will next face Madisonville-North Hopkins in the championship Thursday night.
