
The Caldwell County girls’ wrestling team had a pair of wrestlers finish in the top 5 at Saturday’s Steve Johnson Memorial Girls Invitational hosted by Paducah Tilghman.
Sophie Parrish finished in fourth place in the 100-pound class. She claimed a win over Fort Campbell’s Delaney Perry in the third round.
Virginia Stewart finished in fourth place in the 235-pound class. Her two wins were by pin.
Alyvia Barnwell finished in fifth place in the 120-pound class.
Aniyaree Wilson took eighth place in the 114-pound class.
Cammie Cotton was eighth in the 165-pound class.
Halli Stewart took ninth place in the 126-pound class.
Rylie Bruce was ninth in the 132-pound class.
Kali Richardson took 11th place in the 145-pound class.
As a team, Caldwell County finished in 11th place with 20 points.
