Coach Scott Gentry and the University Heights Academy baseball team brought home the 8th District trophy for the first time in 23 years on Tuesday, knocking off Hopkinsville 7-4 with a pair of RBI by Jackson Flynn and six strong innings on the mound from Hayden Hunt.
Gentry spoke afterward about the development of his young team throughout the season and got an unexpected bath from his players.
