Caldwell’s wrestlers went 2-3 in the Marion Wildcat Duals in Marion, Illinois, on Saturday.
The Tigers defeated Kennett (Missouri) 40-36 and Pinckneyville (Illinois) 48-21 but fell to Effingham (Illinois) 41-40 and host Marion 60-11 in pool play.
Caldwell then lost to Fort Campbell 57-23 in the placement round to end the day.
Logan Brown went 4-0 on the day for the Tigers at 138 pounds.
The Tigers get to wrestle at home this Saturday when they host the annual Armstrong Dual Tournament at the CAB gym. Sixteen schools will compete in Caldwell’s home tournament.
