
An end to a six-game losing skid to open the 2024-2025 basketball season for the Russellville Lady Panther. The Lady Panthers defeated the Fort Campbell Lady Falcons 60-48 Monday night at Ft Campbell.
The Lady Panthers shook off a slow start and took control of the game in the 2nd half behind the unstoppable duo of Demyiah Allen and Samyah McCoy, who combined for 18 points and 24 rebounds.
Mariyah Merriwether led the way for Russellville with 15 points while M’Riyah Boyd added 10.

The Lady Falcons were led by hot shooting 7th grader Kyra Benson who nailed three 3-pointers on her way to 15 points. Senior Rosella Rajj and birthday girl A’mari Grimsley each added 14.
The loss drops Coach Tynisa Young’s Lady Falcons to 1-4 on the season while Russellville improved to 1-6, getting Coach Orlando Hayden his first win of 2024.
