The Madisonville-North Hopkins girls’ basketball team made it three wins on the bounce on Tuesday with a 67-50 victory over hosts Muhlenberg County.
The Lady Maroons improved to 5-3 with a trip to Calloway County coming up on Saturday to face Middleton, TN in The Hardwood Classic.
Riley Sword led the way for Madisonville with 22 points, followed by Macy Wright with 16 and seven rebounds.
Taylor Nelson connected on three of five attempts from behind the arc to finish with 13 points, and SaNya Carney just missed a double-double with nine points and ten rebounds. Bryanne Johnson added four points for the Lady Maroons, and Bailey Bryant had three.
Muhlenberg County suffered its fifth-straight defeat to slip to 1-5.
