
A walk and an error opened the door for Livingston Central to break a 2-2 tie with two runs in the top of the seventh as the Lady Cardinals turned back the Lyon County Lady Lyons 4-2 at Lee S. Jones Park.
Addison Tramble then set the Lady Lyon down in order in the bottom of the seventh to pick up the win in the circle for Livingston Central.
The rally capped off a game in which the Lady Cardinals scored two in the first inning and two in the last inning. Livingston Central got on the board in the top of the first when Victoria Joiner was hit by a pitch to open the game. Two outs later, Emersyn Ramage took one over the centerfield fence to make it 2-0.
The Lady Lyons got one of the runs back in the bottom of the second when Olivia Moore homered to center to lead off the inning.
After Tramble hit two batters with one out in the bottom of the fourth, Ava Prow doubled to score Lilly Perry and pull the Lady Lyons even at 2-2.
The game stayed that way until the top of the seventh. An outfield error and a walk gave the Lady Cardinals runners on first and second with one out. Emersyn Ramage drove in a run with a sacrifice bunt and then Chloe Doyle drove in a run with a single to right.
Ramage finished the game for Livingston 1 of 3 with 3 RBIs and a run scored.
For Lyon County, Jenna Coursey, Olivia Moore, and Ava Prow had one hit each.
Addison Tramble went the distance for the Lady Cardinals in the circle, giving up two runs on three hits, striking out 14 and walking just one.
Ava Prow gave Lyon County a big effort in the circle, going seven innings, giving up four runs, just two of them earned, on seven hits, striking out seven and walking three.
