
Hopkinsville High School closed out its brief but successful chapter in the HHS athletic program at the Region I Bowling Tournament in Bowling Green.
Kyle Bauman finished in 15th place in the singles division with a 562 series. He rolled a 180 and 173 in his first two games and closed with a 209.
Bauman finished 61st at the region last year with a 394 series.
Chaisen White came in 71st place with a 348 series with a high game of 138, and Kamdyn Sharp was 76th with a 291 series and a high of 111. White’s score was a 17-pin improvement over last year’s region score.
Bowling Green’s Ethan Miller won the region title with a 705 series with a high game of 259.
In the team competition, Hopkinsville was matched against Christian County in the first round and lost 139-114, 151-105, and 194-160 in the best-of-three series.
