
Dawson Springs had three athletes participate in the KHSAA Class 1A State Indoor Track and Field Meet, with two reaching the medal podium.
Easton Bourland came in third place in the 800-meter run in a school-record time of 2:01.53, less than two seconds behind the winner, Kyle Stickel of Lexington Christian.
Chase Miles finished in sixth place in the high jump with a height of 5-8, equaling a personal best and a school record.
Cooper Burge set a new school indoor mark in the triple jump with a distance of 35-1, which was good for 16th place.
As a team, Dawson Springs totaled nine points to tie for 19th place.
